Abstract: Hydraulic fracturing with coiled tubing (CT) is an effective way for longitudinal multiple fracturing in China. To get a full understanding of the coiled tubing technology abroad and to expand the application scope of the domestic coiled tubing units, the CT CONVERYED FRACTURING AND ANNULUS FRACTURING ARE COMPARED AND ANALYZED. And the through a complete analysis of the principle, procedures, friction calculation, priority and limits of annulus hydraulic fracturing with coiled tubing, it is believed that this fracturing method can combine the sand-jet perforation with annulus sand loading to increase the application scope of coiled tubing, to increase the use ratio of the existing small-size CT units now available in China, and to improve the nozzle life and increase the flow rate, thus suitable for flexible operation at different field sites. This will provide a robust foundation for solving problems of longitudinal multiple fracturing by introducing coiled tubing technique from abroad and adopting the technology of CT-conveyed annulus hydraulic fracturing.
