PROJECT CHALLENGES
ENTI undertook a region’s first shale gas project on behalf of GWDC PetroChina. Compared to similar shale gas reservoirs, the ultra-deep reservoir had higher than average pressures which posed significant challenges for recovery operations.

SOLUTIONS
ENTI designed a comprehensive drilling and well completion strategy related to the shale gas "Geo-Engineering Integration" concept that ultimately included three wireline operations teams, two logging trucks, two sets of ground blowout preventer equipment and various downhole equipment.
After reviewing reservoir geology and fluid data, ENTI carried out a series of fracturing tests to help pinpoint the optimal fracturing design for the block of wells. ENTI aimed to perfectly demonstrate our unique "Completion Integration" in every detailed process during the operation to guarantee the expected completion effect in horizontal wells.
The drilling phase of the project combined ENTI’s SUPER-PERFTM drilling fluid with our TITANTM 3D Geosteering technology to increase accuracy and efficiency.

ACHIEVEMENTS
The customer lauded our results as ENTI achieved a higher than expected rate of production, making way for further applications of these techniques within the project. ENTI achieved high gas production rate with high wellhead pressure. ENTI's approach epitomized our unique integrated services business model and ultimately
lead to the expanded productivity of more than 10 horizontal wells in the region during 2015.
