A New Model for Tip Screen out FracturingDec 01, 2014

Abstract: On the basis of analyzing the mechanisms and technical features of tip screen out fracture, this paper develops a series of 3D filtration model to describe the real flow of fracturing fluids in medium-high permeable formations, and a set of 3D spreading model considering fractures with high pressure drop in terms of its higher simulating accuracy than one of normal fracturing process. Finally, a complete tip screen out fracturing design program is presented in this paper.
